OK Do u guys know any common reasons why the check engine light might be on..........I have a 97 Talon n/t i use to own Honda's and they had a led on the ECU when it would flash it would give u a code and the code will tell you whats wrongs.....O i also have blueish smoke come out of the exhaust when i start the car also it smells real sour

Read this tech article which shows all the codes and their meanings. On an ODBII car (which you have) you need a code reader to retrieve the CEL codes.

Blue smoke on startup = leaking valve seals
