THE OIL FILL BOLT/PLUG ON MY TRANSFER CASE SOME HOW WORKED IT'S WAY OUT AND FELL OUT WHILE ON THE FREEWAY ANYWAYS, i'VE BEEN TRING TO FIND INFO ON THE PITCH OR THREAD SO i COULD FIND A BOLT WITH A MATCHING THREAD, Oh shit just realized my caps where on sorry...anyways I've called a few auto parts stores and was told it was either a M 16 X 1.25 or 16 X 1.5 can any one clear this up for me as to which one it is...

Try measuring the ID of the threaded hole with some calipers or something like that.
That way you can at least narrow it down to the M16 or what ever size.
Next, buy a couple different thread pitches and fit the right one in there.
How much can a single screw cost....
 
good call I'll just buy a few differnt bolts, I'm just freakin' out cause I'm stuck at work till I figure something out
