I still can't figure this problem out and after some long runs, everything under the hood is extremely hot. First is a picture of the thermostat housing and I was wondering if the gauge doesn't work because something broke off? Kinda looks like it.
Second is a picture of a piece I found attatched to some vaccum lines. Part#: MD103867 I'm not sure if this could be it or what, but if anyone can let me know what this is/what it does/if it is hurting me to not have it, that would be great.

EDIT: Just figured out that it is the emissions thermo switch thing, but can anyone help me figure out why my gauge isn't working?

Picture isnt the greatest but from what I see that is where your coolant temp. switch is supposed to be attached and that is why your gauge isnt working.

It is actually something to do with emissions and is not the temperature senson. I found some other threads about it. :thumb:
