Leaky Battery...

Well after i installed my 16g, i got my car running and everything was good. The next day i smell this horrible smell and i stop to see what it is. I pop my hood and some liquid is leaking all over my battery and it is sizzling and hissing. So my dad comes and brings a battery from his truck and it fit so i drove with that. Than today, that same smell came back so i came right home, popped the hood and that fluid starting leaking out of the new battery aswell. I was wondering what was wrong. Is it my alternator?

Mostlikely the voltage regulator in your Alt is bad causing high voltage to boil the battery acid and kill the battery.

You can check this by hooking up a multi-meter set on voltage to your battery and checking the voltage output, then start the car and see what the voltage reads. With it boiling over its likely that the voltage will be 16v+.

^ ^ ^ Yup. Your alternator is trying to incinerate your battery. Fix your power steering fluid leak, and replace the alternator.
