(sorry about grammer and spelling)
i have a 90 talon tsi.when i bought it would only rev to about 4500 rpms .after that the hole car starts jerking something like it hit a rev limiter. i checked the compestion it was bad so i have completely rebuilt motor. new piston's and rods, crank, cams, springs, valves, 2g exhaust man. new intake, new manufacture o2 senor, and new knock sensor. put it all back together and same problem. since then i have tested computer witch is out of a 90 turbo fwd(i was told as long as it for a turbo it shouldn't be a problem) it has new compasiters so it should be good. i tested the isc good i think.i put a egr block off plate. it doesn't have any emission, was like that when i bought it. i also put a new walbro fuel pump on it. i was driving the car one day trying to see if anything i had done helped. i made it about a mile and broke my stock turbo. when i say broke i mean, i took it off and it came in pieces. so i bought a 16g for it put it on still the same problem. i have also tested the coil good. and all plugs and wires are new.

this is a post i wrote on another site. since then i have changed the ecu and same problem. it will actually rev to about 4500 in first every gear after that is between 3800 and 4000. i have know idea what to do next. will try anything.

i am using 660 injecters but i had stock injectors before engine rebuild and it had the same problem. i was told the only way to test mas air was to bring it to a dealer.

The 660's aren't making your problem any better. For that matter, all that crap you're installing is merely compounding your problem. A 255 without an AFPR? Uncompensated 660's? Good luck finding whatever is wrong.

i still have stock injectors i can put in. what crap are you taking about. 660 and 16 g turbo are only bolt ons i have installed. i have other bolt on not installed, because i haven't figured out problem. being a d*** doesn't help me. i have made two post. and had two rude answers. both from moderators. you'd think with all that experience you'd realize some people are new to dsms. Ive only had muscle cars that didn't require so much computer crap. I'm very intrested and want to learn. thanks for the help.

take apart your mass air, and clean it, wiith degreaser, or something like that, takes like 15 minutes if your slow

We aren't trying to be assholes. we ARE trying to help you. IF YOU ARE USING those 660's, With NO FUEL CONTROL TO LEAN IT OUT, AND NO LOGGER TO LOG AND SEE WHATS GOING ON. Take them out. You CANNOT use injectors that big with no safc installed. Maybe you have the safc installed, But you never replied with an answer.

i know that everyone is not trying to be rude but there are ways of saying things. i do appreciate the help. and i do listen. i am going to take out 660 and put stock in until i get a AFC. but i know this is not the problem that i am trying to fix because it did the same thing stock.

My post was not meant to be rude. I am simply telling you that you're not making your situation any easier.

Geesh, everyone hates me now.

I know you said in your first post that you don't have any emissions but have you removed the cat? If that is still in the car and clogged it will result in some of the issues you are having. Also if you are running the 660's with no control the car will run rich and clog the cat. really fast and really bad cause thats alot of unburnt fuel. Just the first thing that popped into my head. Maybe why the turbo would be physically broke too all that exhaust and no where to go. Of course if the cat is removed none of this matters LOL hope i helped. :dsm:

no cat but thanks, and i hate no one, i put stock injectors back in today, and i was wrong about fuel pump, it is a walbro 190, still have the same problem, i have new thermal exhaust but i didn't want to put it on till car was running right, i also have 3 in gm maf and translator for it but again I want car to run right first. i am going to buy a data logger today. maybe that will help me figure out the problem.

also the translator i bought says it will work something like a AFC is this true or should i hold off on it till a buy AFC?
