I am having a problem setting my base timing.
I grounded the connector to the battery like the book says to and I have the timing light hooked up to the #1 cylinder. When I shoot the timing light at the marks, the dot is nowhere to be found. Here is the odd part, if I take the timing light and shoot it from the opposite side of the car I can see the dot 180 degrees from where it should be. I have double checked the c.a.s. to make sure it is not 180 out, other than that I don't know where to start.
Any input appreciated.
