Valve Chatter PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I have 2g GST, just mounted a FMIC with stock turbo and HKS by-pass valve. Idles fine, (little lean). When in gear, does not rev past 4k and only boosts to 9-10psi. Up to 4k RPM runs rough and jerks and pulses like its struggling. I pulled over and now there is valve chatter coming from underneath the valve cover. I dunno what happened and how mounting a FMIC with that BOV instead of the stock components caused this. I have yet to take off the valve cover but i am going to do that. What could possibly be some problems that had happend? Expensive to fix? What caused this ??? Please help it would be greatly appreciated.

well putting that stuff on itsnt gonna make it.. do that. but missing a line here or a hose there could.. are you venting ot atmos..are you sure its VALVE clatter.. or jsut our normal lifter tick that are cars are known.. for.. I would check to make sure all ur hoses are connectred

Yes its vented to atmosphere and yes ok i am going to checks for no leaks what sound does lifter noise make? im not 100% is valve chatter noise. Thank you, any more info would help me out alot

also there is no scratches on the cams and the springs look to be all in place and nothing looks out of the ordinary but still chattering what do i do?

you could go buy som Rosolone. and change ur oil and replace one quart of oil with the Rosolone.. Its souhnds like lifter it.. okay how LOUD is it..
also WHY are you venting ur BOV.. are u running a 3"maf/translator.. if not u should recirculate hte BOV.

Yes i plan on recirculating it but as of right now i dont have the hose but yes i am. The cams and springs all seem to be working ok so it sounds like its under that. Possibly something trapped in the combustion chamber or something is hitting. It is pretty lound like finger snapping but faster and a little louder. I just changed my oil so i dont think its that and all my boost leaks are fixed. Still chattering

You could be gettin actual knock in the motor or piston slap?....where there any metal shavingts in ur oil when you changed it?

No there wasnt any metal shavings at all. Maybe a sliver or a shaving from the IC piping welds slipped off and went into the chamber and piston slap is due to that???? idles fine but chattering wont go away

UPDATE!!!!

I took out the spark plugs and turned the motor manualy using the cam gear. I found that the #2 cylinder is "clicking" every time when it is TDC. I also went down each hole with a telescopic magnetic pickup pen and only found just carbons and normal stuff in each cylinder. However #2 had more oil type sludge than the other cyliders. what could be the possibilties?????

do you have spark in the #2 cyl or maybe the injector is stuck open, and maybe you have a bad rod bearing

Yes i have spark and no i dont think the injector is stuck open. However the #2 plug the electrode looks smashed and bent in a lil so i think maybe something like a "bb" or a weld shaving may have gotten stuck. The valve clicks on the TDC stroke, the springs dont seem to be having any trouble compressing or opening.

How old are the plugs? Replace and report back please.

plugs are brand new so is oil
