What year Laser is that part from? You have the water-based oil cooler... if the one from the Laser is from a '90 or some of the early '91s, it could be intended for use with the air-based oil cooler.

not shure all i know is it had the pop ups on it

Both the '90 and '91 had pop-ups. If you can, you should try to find out... you may run into problems if that's for the air-cooled system from the '90.

I'll tell you right now that the one you are holding in your hand (from the laser) is meant for an external (air to oil) oil cooler. The one on your car has the water to oil cooler. Sure the one from the laser will fit on your motor but you will have to get the oil cooler, lines, and banjo bolts from that laser or from another '90 dsm and cap off the coolant lines that used to go to the other oil cooler.

ok thanks man thats all i needed to here ill be going to the junk yard to find one soem time this week god this car shit sucks im boosting blind still got to hook my boost gauge up and i looked at the stock on 2 day and it was up at 14 psi so who knows how much im boosting and i dont know how much oil presur i got so fcuk im not driving for a few days im kinda drunk hope you understand this shit mods please close this thread thanks i know the problem
