I am currently working on a 97 4g63 turbo. After sitting for a day or two it will start right up with no problems. After running for a few minutes you can kill the car and try to start it again and it has trouble. with every time taking longer and longer to start the car.??? Do you think there is a bad sensor somewhere causing this problem any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Pull a plug and see if it's wet with gas after it won't start. Does it smell rich out the exhaust? Check the temp sensor (one that goes to the ECU, not the gauge one). A bad temp sensor fools the ECU into richening the mixture (thinks engine is cold).

Sounds like injectors are leaking, sticking, or the SAFC is tuned overly rich at start up.

I know with 650's and a SAFC I have seen cars be hard to start when around -25 to -30 for the Lo setting 1000 rpm increment.

Keep us posted.
