Engine Rattle Help Asap!!!

ok so heres the deal, i was driving yesterday and all of a sudden i get this really loud rattling noise. its coming from somewhere in the bottom end by the transfer case. it only rattles when im at idle or under about 10mph, or when im in park/neutral and rev it. but as soon as i take off and get about 15mph or so it goes away. now this rattle isnt like an exhaust rattle its somewhere inside the lower part of the engine. everything runs fine, no loss in power or anything. i dont know where to start. thanks

if it's coming from the transfer case area, sounds like it could be drivetrain related and possible terminal. I would take it easy until you can figure out the source of the rattling.

is this an auto or 5-speed? if its auto the it could be a loose torque converter to flexplate, or cracked flexplate to crankshaft cracks between the mounting bolts. if its stick it may be the clutch release bearing fork, broken spring on the ball and socket. i could help better with some more info. is it only when the car is not under load? or does it happen continuosly when ur under 10 mph? hit me back

Yes the car is an auto. when i put a load on the car and get about 5-10mph then it goes away. it will continuosly rattle if i am at 5mph or so.
