Ok I usually am pretty good bout doin some research into the problem before brining it to the attention of veteran DSM TUners, and have learned alot bout my car that way. I just went through a turbo port n rebuild. My car after some hard driving is smoking ONLY WHEN AT A STAND STILL and ONLY from under the car. You know the normal dsm smoke (the kind you can see coming out from under the hood....this is different this comes out from UNDER behind the front tires. i'm thinking i may have overfilled coolant or maybe the spilled fluids (spilled alot when we took the turbo off) are nar/on the exhuast pipe? and extra is just coming out, there is a puddle on the ground afterwards(not a big puddle enough to let you know something is there) but its definetly not thick enough for oil. Any advice would be useful. my mods are as follows.....

rebuilt bottom end (february)
centerforce dual friction clutch (2 weeks ago)
rebuilt n ported 14b (2 weeks ago)

this is all on a 1992 Eagle Talon Tsi FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, no differential here or anythign folks.

AGain I did mysearching and could not find anything, any advice?

Your first task is to identify the fluid. If it doesn't look/smell like engine oil and it's not coolant, then my vote is going to be on either brake or power steering fluid that is dripping onto the downpipe and smoking when at a stand-still, and either blowing away to where you can't see it or drips are missing the pipe entirely when the car is in motion.

Ok hows it going,\... update for everybody

It ended up being coolant. Overheated an got it towed to my house, put a new thermostat in and played gentle for a drive around the block (on hot day) and it apparently solved the problem, HOWEVER I drove to my buddies house and when i got their it began to exhibit the same symptoms, white smoke under the hood this time (like when it overheated the previous time (no longer from under the car)) I popped the hood and i also heard a hissing sound, if someone could respond back I believe my problem maybe i didn't give the silicon gasket sealer time to cure and therefore caught a little leak on the radiator side of the thermostat? what do people think? Again any help would be appreciated
