I have a 95 tsi auto.

I have for a while been having problems with my car bucking at WOT when its cold. Last night I installed my autometer boost gauge (are these any good) and i was pretty suprised with the readings it was giving me. At WOT i was boosting pretty consistantly 14-15 psi with spikes that went up to 20 (maximum on the gauge). For vacuum it reads around 20 when stopped but can be anywhere between 20 and 15. When i was on the freeway cruising my factory boost gauge read that it was boosting but the autometer read vaccuum (sp?) Well when the autometer read vacuum if i let off the gas i could hear my bov let out air (yeah its vented but the RFL was free from a friend) is this normal? Should a BOV make noise if the gauge is reading vacuum? Is it correct for my boost to spike up around 20 psi? Could these things be related to the bucking problem?

Also my car is running super rich. I burn through gas really quick. I just installed a new o2 sensor in the front and im doing the back one next week, i also just put in NGK plugs and bosch platnum wires. I also removed the wastegate controll restrictor thing, can that cause some of my problems?

No your car is not safe to drive like that!

Take off the vented BOV and ur mileage will go up.
Fix the running rich problem because it is not good for your car or o2 sensors.

Autometer gauges are good :)
