OIL leak?????

I searched the foruim did not see any Q's or A's that fit this. So here goes. My son jsut bought a 99 GS , When We looked at it I told them to get the smell issue resolved. They took to a mechanic and he said the VC was leaking. They repaired and brought me the reciept. Well I drove the car here home 6 hours and all ok . Now we let it sit a few weeks till my son got his 1g sold now we see some oil under the car around the brace that goes front to back. Seems to be coming down and then drips on floor. Could this be the oil pan ? The brace is between the motor and trans,(right). He said they sprayed cleaner all over the underside after they replaced the VC gasket. Any suggestions. Are theer anything around this area that would drip on that brace then drip on the ground? Thanks Mike

i would clean everything up as best i could, make sure my oil level is alright, then take it for a spin and recheck to see if there's oil anywhere. you could also use an oil dye.
