Clutch pedal issues

Car is a 95 TSI AWD

Ok, I have done a search, but could not find a problem exactly like mine. My problem i s that I have a dead clutch pedal, but I can still shift and the car will drive, but with no power, fastest I can get it is 40mph at 5500rpms in 3rd gear. oddly enough the engine will run while in gear, with clutch pedal out( ihave to pull it up with my foot, it sticks to floor.)i have replaced the slave, and will replace the master

im not sure about youre syptoms,but what you said with the pedal sticking is just a bolt,trust me messed with this d*** bolt several times.it is almost impossible to get to,look under youre dash were the clutch pedal connects to the master,[this is where you do the adjustments]if you feel up above were the gas pedal is there is a bolt holding the u joing to the cutch pedal,you can only get to it with a socket,so good luck
