Car Stuck on Street PLease help

okay i just had my transmission/flywheel/clutch replaced about 100miles ago on my 98 GST. It has minimal mods (intake,bov,clutch,flywheel) but i dont think it has anything to do with this unless he forgot to hook something back up.

Anyway i was cruising home last nite and i took a corner as i came out of the corner the car just stalled right out didnt even notice it happened till i pressed on the gas and didnt move... so i coasted to the side of the street tried to start it and all i get is the starter clicking nothing else happens. the engine isnt turning over at all not even attempting just the starter clicking.

im guessing it is probably fuel related as it was pretty much the same feeling as running out of gas but im far from an expert and would really like your guys help. Also the wires and plugs are brand new less than 500miles. but my car is being vented improperly (previous owner havent had time to recirc'n it)

alright just a little update i went back to the car today hoping it would start but now when i go to start it it just makes a constant whining noise and when i stop you can hear a rather strange series of clicks seems to be comming from between the engine and the firewall checked the battery it was fine 12.8v car off

cmon guys 15 views already and not even a reply i would really like to get my car off of the corner and any help would surely be worth a rep point

Make sure the positive terminal on the battery isn't grounding on the hood or strut bar.

if you can, i'd put in a new starter and make sure your getting spark and fuel.. even if you replaced plugs and wires and what not yesterday, something could have happend inbetween then and now.. never rule anything out as a possability just because it's new

oh and if you were still coasting, i wouldnt think it would be anything with your tranny unless it wont go into gear now or something.. check all your fuse's, wire's, plugs, filters, make sure your getting fuel, alway's start easy and cheap and hope for the best, trust me it's no fun replaceing stuff you dont need to.. and if you think it may be fuel related see if your pump is still working properly?

First off, why don't you get your car towed back to your house or somewhere else so it isn't just sitting there on the street? I don't know about you but I wouldn't be too comfortable with that thought.

Things to do, check your terminals as previously noted, fuses, and anything else you can think of. Then check for spark, then if your fuel pump is still working or not.

I guessing your battery died because your charging system failed. Is it something obvious like a broken alternator belt? You have to check you battery voltage while it is under load; what does it read while trying to crank the engine? A bad battery with low charge can still read >12 volts under no load and will drop to <6 volts while cranking.

well i know its not a broken belt it could be the alternator it has been giving me alittle bit of trouble AND i know 100% sure its not my connection to the battery the battery might be dead as well as my gauge is in the back of the car and kinda hard to start it and be back there.

anyway i got it towed to a shop so its off the street now hopefully its my injectors or fuel pump and not a starter but i have a feeling it is gonna be the starter

but any other suggestions would be great

okay turns out we are all wrong guess my timming belt snapped i really didnt expect this i know the valves are probably shot but what else might be damaged (pistons im guessing) also what is this gonna run me to get fixed...
