My car:
1995 Talon TSi AWD: auto
50 trim T3/T4 Turbo (new)
HKS VPC controller
Boost controler
HKS Front Mount IC
External wastegate
BOV
170Tstat
DNP exhaust manifold
550 injectors
full 3" exhaust (no cats)

Car gets full boost @ 3400 rpms...pulls very hard and everything, but I was just wondering if this is normal for a 50trim t3/t4 along with the setup I have. I know I need bigger injectors and the VPC and Boost controller haven't been properly tuned in. I'm going to be going with a tuning program also pretty soon, so what would you suggest? DSMlink? Thanks.

Many here swear by DSM Link, I haven't had the opportunity to get my hands on it yet but it looks very promising. I used an AEM EMS system in a previous DSM incarnation a few years ago. It was an absolute PITA to get everything setup properly with the tuning, but once it started to get dialed in I wouldn't dream of using anything else, especially when adding on the odd bits like water injection later on, it gave me the flexibility and control that I needed.

Yea 3400 is pretty good... Some people get full spool on a Big 16g around there.

3400rpm sounds about right, I thought it would be more like 3600.

A tubular manifold and no restrictions in the exhaust probably help spool it a little quicker. 200rpms isnt much but I could believe that plays a factor.

As everyone else has said. That's not bad lag at all. That's actually really good.
My 50 trim is usually in the neighborhood of 3800.

As far as tuning, DSM Link all the way. I'm one of the people that swears by it.

can AEM EMS and DSMlink be used for managing, datalogging, and tuning?
Go to www.dsmlink.com
It does all of the above and probably more than you will ever use. :thumb:
It's also probably the most user friendly.

Oh yes AEM EMS does the same also. Just not as user friendly. More of a learning curve.

I've been looking at the site for some time and searching on here for pro's/con's, thanks a lot

I doubt you find many cons about DSM Link....hahahahaha
They're constantly developing new ideas for upgrades. They also pay close attention to their customer's suggestions, for developing new upgrades.
It's not only user friendly but they're very concerned about their customers needs.
I doubt you'll get as much personal help from any other company.
Good luck with your decision.
