When I start my car in the morning it sounds like the cam gears are hitting the timming cover but they are not and it stops after about 20 min of driving. Also the timming belt seems a little loose.
 
Could the sound be lifter tick?

How/where are you determining yout TBelt is loose? Is it still "loose" after your car has been running or is it just when cold?
 
It is loose when it is cold and it is definitaly not lifter tick because I know what lifter tick sounds like. Also it does seem tighter after it has been started. The noise continues for at least 20 min and fades away and then stops entirely. It is definitaly coming from inside the timing cover.
 
The timing belt will be a bit loose when its cold, but as soon as you crank it tension should be on the belt. When my auto tensioner went bad, the belt would flap a bit when it was revved and made kinda a vibrating belt noise/rattle. Took off the old tensioner and could move the hydrolic rod by hand (bad) and it started leaking a bit of fluid. Picked up a new tensioner with a new belt and fixed everything.
