Well my belt has been making a little "squeak" since I got it (about a month ago). I didn't pay much attention to it, just figured it needed to be tightened a little. Well last night me and my friend went to the drag strip. I wanted to see what kind of numbers I could pull stock and then run it after I do mods to see the difference.
Anyways...I got up there and we ran. I passed the time signs and took it out of gear to coast to the end of the track. I get to where you have to turn off and notice it's hard to turn. I though at first my car had quit. It was loud as crap out there so I couldn't hear the engine running. Well I put it in gear and notice my engine lights and stuff are not on and I give it gas and off I go. Ok...it was a straight road back so when I go to turn to get my slip I notice it is still really stiff. I decide it's time to head to the house at that point.
Well I get up this mourning and pop the hood. The power steering belt is all the way off. Its off every freaking pully. Just hanging there. What could have caused this?
Should I just put the belt back on and try to tighten the tensioner? Also I searched and didn't really find anything. Any write ups on how to do this? This is my first DSM so I am just learning to work on it. Still waiting for my freaking Helms to come in

I was hoping you would post. Thats what I thought at first was my harmonic balancer. Any certain way to check this? Also do I have to just replace the balancer or the crank pulley also?
