Fuel Pump Help Please!!

My car is sitting at the mechanic right now. They installed my brand new Walbro 255 HP fuel pump. The car idles fine but when you give it gas, it sounds like crap and won't rev. It pops and studders. They are telling me that I got a bad fuel pump. Is that b.s. or did they install it wrong. I heard something about maybe a o ring?? Please help, I need my car outta there today. Thanks

What is the pump pressure? How was it behaving before you had the new pump installed?

It was the O ring. The bonehead that installed it didn't install new orings and was claiming it was a bad pump. He pulled it out and replaced them, now it's fine. Thanks.

Awfully hard to get good help any more, yeow they can't even change parts now.
