Engine Problems

I have a 96 Eclipse N/T and I just replaced the thermostat which fixed the engine temperature problem, but now when I start it sometimes it revs to around 1100 rpm then just quits. Also, when I am driving i push in on the clutch to shift and the engine drops to like 400 rpms and it will either the rpms will drop so low it will quit or it drops real low and my headlights dim then it slow go back up. Please Help, If any knows how to fix this problem I need to know or I am gonna try to sell it. I dont really wanna sell it though.

go back thro and make sure all vac lines are hooked up

I dont know too much about my car so could you tell me how many vacuum lines there are and where are they? Or if you know of any website that might help me out with this?
