Any ways,

I noticed the other day my check engine light came on. There was no drivability issues after but the next day my car wouldn't start. When you let it sit for a while and try to start it it will pop and die out. If you keep turning the key it will eventually fire and studder till it catches it self. It seems as if its flooding out.

I have a new battery, altenator, and starter so its nothing to do with the charging system. I'm reading 12 Volts from my SAFCII. The car starts perfect once you get it to run and when it warms up.

IM clueless. If I had a scanner I could pull a code but I dont.

Check the plugs and wires, make sure tha maf is plugged in. Try and pull the code.
Oh, come up with some updated info if you want to bump your thread, mods will lock it if they see this.

Why would plug wires cause a check engine light?

THe MAF is plugged in, the car runs fine if it starts.

Why would this thread Be locked?????

I quess I'll have to spent another $300 dollars to have a goddamn engine light checked

No bumping is the rule. Get a datalogger, much cheaper than $300.

I posted this in the help section but none cared.

Ill repost what was said and add a few things.

When it does start the engine light is on, if you punch the gas it goes away sometimes.

UPDATE: Now I cat start it at all

I have gas, spark, air but still nothing but a quick boomph out the tail pipe when you turn the key.

THis is my only car and IM in serious trouble if I cant figure this out. I can't afford a $100 dollar tow and a repair charge for whatever.

Find a local tuner that has the pocket logger and have them pull the code for you. Or go to local Autozone and use there code reader. :thumb: :talon:

I'm in a real pinch and need a pocket logger to pull a code. You can make quick $20 :thumb:

You would probably have better luck if your thread title said anything:
Use descriptive thread titles. If it's not descriptive, it's not worth reading.

No bumping threads (replying to your thread for the sole purpose of moving it to the top of the forum for more exposure). If your question doesn't get answered, it's either because you didn't provide enough info, your profile isn't filled in, or you asked a question that was already answered in our FAQ forum.

And NEVER cross-post.
