Is It My Brakes ???

My wheel has been shaking like crazy lately. It doesnt do it all the time, its very tempermental. Sometimes i go hours of driving no problems, sometimes it does it for hours. It feels like crazy balance problems, and i hear it chattering. If i stop on a small hill while its doing it , the brakes will hold me. If i try to stop while its doing it , the brakes feel like the rotors are extremely warped. If theyre not doing it , the brakes feel fine though. Do u think it is that my calipers are slightly frozen? Please help me guys, im a delivery guy so i need my car pretty bad. thanks for your time.

My front rotors were warped like crazy. I had them turned and they warped again in 3 months. So i got rid of them and ordered some drilled and slotted brembo rotors, they have only like 500 miles on them so i don't know yet.

Mine would shake violently when warmed up and only when I applied the brake pedal.

I would start with the cheapest fix. I would get the wheels balanced and rotated. if that doesnt work, lift the car in the air and grab the top and bottom of the tire. See if the wheel moves. If it moves the balljoints are bad. You can even try taking the rotors and getting them turned, it might be because the brake pads were never broken it properly. Or the brake calipers and fluid are bad, and you can buy new ones at Murrays for $45 with a core.

i have checked balance and it is fine. i am gonna get it in the air tomorrow and check the ball joints. how hard is it to replace the ball joint ? and you said something about murrays? mine is dual piston caliper and the cheapest i could find were 85 a piece. i never heard of murrays though. thanks again for the help guys. anymore is greatly appreciated.

Have a suspension shop check it over. Probably a blown steering rack.
