Well, to try to sum things up, I had a short in the car, the electrician decided to take out my AFC and everything else.. The car before this was already running like crap and now that he took the AFC out, I couldnt get it above 4k+ -- I have 255lph/550cc injectors.. So I called a couple of shops, and RRE was always too busy.. So I went to a place in SoCal in the valley called 2k Racing.. They said they were familiar with it and would do it.. While in his possession he said he had found lots of other things, that my fuel was off, and I had known I didnt have an upgraded FPR, and that it proved to be a problem at idle and what not, so I knew eventually i'd have to get one.. Well he decided to put one on, and since he said the fuel pressure was running at 35lbs, and 45 at full throttle, that now the car was boosting.. I guess he was under the impression it wasnt boosting before, and it wasnt.. But it was when the AFC was in, just not well.. Whatever, so he said its boosting for the most part, but he feels that my air flow meter is bad.. I had went to pick up the car, and he didnt install the afc, telling me that its only for fine tuning.. I had known that, and he tried convincing me it wasnt a big deal.. I asked if he could install it since originally, that was the reason i brought it to him.. He calls me the next day, saying as soon as he put on the AFC, it ran like shit.. it wouldnt boost anymore, that he was just going to take it off, and wait for me to get a flow meter.. This is right after him telling me it wouldnt make any difference performance wise, but now that he put it on, it supposedly made this NEGATIVE of performance? Sigh, this is after him originally thinking it was my crank angle sensor, and a few other things.. I asked if he checked for boost leaks, he said he did, none found, turbo spooling fine, injector, pump working fine, Im at a stump.. Im heading over there to pick up the car, but does this sound reasonable? Should my AFC installed have any huge effect? im trying to get my car running the way it used to, but no one normally has time to look at it, and when they do, theyre full of shit. I've tried to puzzle it together myself, but I cant seem to piece any answers.. any help would be appreciated.. If you need any questions answered, if I wasnt specific enough, please ask, and ill help clarify, thanks!

Can anyone tell me if the air flow meter would have such an impact on boost? He said when he hooked up the S-AFC it caused a DRAMATIC overflow in gas, that he feels one of the signals the ecu was getting was bad, in his opinion, the Air flow meter. I got the car back, its drivable, but no perfomance by any means. Its just running really low end, but not burning too much gas anymore on idle and low throttle cause of the FPR -- Should I buy a new airflow meter? Is there a way to test it?
