I'm hoping someone's come across this before. I installed an Apex TT in my 1g a couple weeks ago and up until now it has been working fine. However, when I turn the car off now, the seat belts won't retract until the TT shuts the car off. The TT itself works fine. Wether I leave the key in the ignition or take it out the seat belts won't retract even when I open the door. I'm not quite sure if this is related to the TT or not, maybe something just got screwy and the seat belts won't retract until the car (turbo-timed or not) is completly off. Any help would be appreciated.

It's completely normal, dont you think? The TT's job is to keep the engine running. While the engine is running, the automatic seatbelt's job is to keep you in your seat.

When you did not have the turbo timer, the seatbelts engaged and disengaged when the motor is turned on and shut off, respectively.

What I meant was the seat belts do not retract when I open the door to get out of the car. They won't retaract at all until the car is completly off. And the car knows the door is open because the dome lights come on the and the door open warning light is lit on the gauge cluster.

Right, but the auto belts in the 1G's retract when the door is open, car running or not.

Have you check if the sensor at the door work?
Turn the center light (on the roof) to light on wile u open the door and check.
That might be the reason.!

Yup, that was the first thing I checked. The sensor went bad in my n/t so I thought that may be the problem, but it works just fine.
