Well today I had the car on the road for the first time in two years. Ran incredible. Its completely stock. Besides the grinding while the tranny was cold, the problem I had was the car would trip up. It seemed to happen most in 4th gear, usually near the top. I did fill the gas tank with premium before i drove it, but some of the 2 year old gas may have remained. It was the tell-tale symptoms of water in the gas, because it only happened when I jammed the throttle down. Under normal conditions, it was fine. I'm going to add some dry-gas and see if that fixes it, but for now, if there is anything else you guys can think of....

Throw in a bottle of fuel injector cleaner while your at it. Maybe do a boost leak test to make sure your hoses and seals are still healthy.

update:

Car is still doing it, after a bottle of dry gas. I will try a boost leak and fuel injector cleaner, Im also going to get a new fuel filter.
