OK.. Somebody please help me out. I have had a problem with my car to where it would rotate but wouldnt start at all.. Well, I have spark and I took the return line off to see if I had fuel.. I did. But when I took the fuel rail out to see if the injectors where spraying... they wouldnt spray. So I replace my fuel pump with one I had laying around. now its spraying fuel.. But its flooding the piss out of my motor... I am not lying when I try to start it, fuel just gushes out of the exhaust manifold I mean it pours out... I dont understand what is going on?

My ecu clicks like crazy..all my solenoids are clicking like crazy too.

Be careful not to hydrolock your engine as gas will not compress.

This sounds to me like an ECU issue. See if can borrow someone elses to rule that out.

When did your car start (or not start) acting like this? i.e. did you add a new part?

The funny thing is, Yes I did add a new part.. It was a fuel pump. But my injectors wasnt spraying until I added the new fuel pump and then it just started dumping fuel out like crazy. I am pretty sure its the ecu too even though I bought it a week ago ( $20 dollars and it was eprom) becuase its clicking badly every time I turn the key over.

Also could I just be melting ecu's some how and if so why? Thanks

Did you double check that all the battery connections are solid and the MPI fuse is good?

$20 for an ECU (even a non-eprom) falls into the "too good to be true" category. I'd consider sending yours off to one of the ECU gurus to check the board for acid etching or shorted traces and see if can be repaired.

Try contacting Thomas Dorris/Dave Mertz of DSMLink or Jeff Oberholtzer of DSMChips to see if maybe one of them would look at it.

BTW.. I assume you disconnected your battery prior to the fuel pump replacement? This might of just "reset" the ECU so that it would fire the injectors (i.e. fuel pump might not have been bad after all).

OK i will go through the whole story so it will be easier to pinpoint things out...

3 weeks ago I went to the junk yard to replace my ecu becuase my old one was crap.. so I buy that, put it in and then it ran fine. until on day it snow heavily ( 13 inches) and I went out doing donuts with a sled tied to the back of it.. I take it home and park it.. Get up the next morning to go to work.. and it just rotated but didnt start.. Well, no fuel was coming from my exhaust then.. Also I knocked a sensor off that previous night ( it was the one that tells my gauge what my oil pressure is) anyway, I replace the fuel pump and then thats when my motor starts drowning in fuel... I replaced the coolant temp sensor last night and it did nothing. I checked all connections and everything... Also my ISC is clicking awful even after I take the key out and so is my vsv ( where the regulator vacuum hose goes to) I dont want it to be the ecu so bad... I dont guess anything else would fllod my motor out like that though
