“Ticking” noise started in 420A motor

Before I left for Iraq my 95 eclipse that I had just done a swap with another 420A started making a “Ticking” noise now I read about this happening in turbo motors any ideas on this in the 420A? I also read in the tech articles about the lucas oil and how much it improved engine performance and stopped the tick in another tuners engine. Any thoughts on this? I return state side in the beginning of feb. As long as I don’t get blown up . So im preparing in advanced for the work that lies ahead.

It could be a lack of oil in the lifters, go whit the Lucas Oil.

Yeah agreed, you can really go wrong with Lucas, and besides no man on the planet can resist turning the little crank on the parts store display :laugh: Itll help the oil get on up there and if it doesnt fix your problem it most likely will help with other stuff as well. Head on a swivel out there Doc.

Lol thats awsome guys thanks for the help! Defiantly going to try that when I get home. Sorry havent been on for a few days. The hodge tryed to actually attack us! Via 2 canoes . Talk about a turkey shoot. Shot a few more the other day digging a hole and found one guy with his head gone in the mourge.
