you know i went through alot of belts till i decided to check all my pullys... one was alittle loose/ off set and i fixed that now iam good to go... i remember i changed it drove down the street and heard it hit the hood pulled over and the thing was ripped to shi7,, but that was the altinator belt..... but same thing...

Just happened to me last night, i auto started the car, went out to drive off and it was tough as hell to steer, popped the hood and the belt had slipped off the power steering and was still on the crank pulley undamaged, re-installed it today. There was no play on the power steering pulley either so I am unsure how it slipped off. It came off and was shredded about 2 months ago when I down shifted and punched it. Hopefully when I get my solid front mount the engine wont move as much and it will fix this problem.

Yeah idk what it is with the 420A powersteering belt I havent had a problem since I quit running my A/C they run off the same belt. I'm gonna switch to a 6-blot soon enough.
