Boost leak???

Lately I have noticed that my car is not pushing me back in my seat as hard as it used to. In other words it seems slower. I can see the stock boost gauge go up and all but I don't think there is any boost going into the engine? Are these the signs of a boost leak or is there something else. Also, if it is a boost leak where can it be coming from and what needs to be fixed? It seems to be fine if it has been sitting for a while and then I let it warm up a bit and then drive it. For the first little while of driving it seems OK but later on I feel as if there is no boost and the engine is running as if it were a NA. BTW the car is a 97 GST. Thanks for the help.

a boost leak test would be a good start to remedy that problem. Try that and tell us what happens.

check all your clamps and fittings, check to make sure your wastegate isn't stuck open.........hotwheels of turborides
