I got a 93 TSI awd in the begning of September and had no problems with the car accept i had to replace the drivers side seatbelt. I took it in for maintainence in the Middle of october becasue i had no paper proof that the car had been maintained over the past year(by the previous owner) accept for a few aftermarket parts installed. I got my Exaust manifold gasket replaced, the water pump replaced, the tieming done, all the fuilds( Oil,differiential, tranny, xfer case etc). I got a new k&n and put the stock airbox installed for the winter. When i got the car back it had a weird idle and was performing worse so i took it back and he redid the timeing. The idle was better but i was getting a metal tinging from my exaust, and when i start the car somtimes it makes a squeek (from the engine compartment). I looked where i park my car yesterday and its still leaking water and its leaking oil now :mad: . Heres whats really pissing me off... its a lil cold now casue its almost december its about 0-5 C (30's F) i try to do a 2nd gear pull and the car will Jerk at me somtimes harshly. No noise or anything when it jerks it just jerks and i dont feel as much G from the turbo as before.. maybe casue im used to the car now but it just hasnt felt the same since i took it in. I was wondering what could casue that jerk in only 2nd gear from 4k rpms +. Oh and i only use permium fule and the car has 132,000 kms on it which is peanuts i also have 11 years of dealership service records including all the recalls.

You are probably hitting fuel cut, how much boost are you running and what mods are done, include fuel and exhaust. I strongly suggest, taking papers from mitsubishi, bring them back to the tech at the shop and explain to him this is how the timing has to be done, there is water still dripping from my car, get him to do it again untill it is done right. If it is still not pulling right...take it back...and tell him to line up the timing so you can see if the marks line up right. If it doesnt feel right, your not satisfied, ask him to do it to make you satisfied that he didnt #### up and you wont have to bring legal actions into it.

im not gunna bring it back to them... theres a DSM tuner shop in town here that all the guys there own dsm's and they are all highly moded ones they will know how to fix it for sure.. i just wanted some idea's And my car has a Turbo Smart MBC that was suposedly put up to 11 psi with the stock gauge(i didnt set it to that it was set when the guy bought that mbc).. i havent touched the boost.. Im getting all my gauges fro xmas so.. i have no real way to tell how much boosts its actually running till i get them installed.
 
That stock boost guage is electronically controlled by the ECU, you will never know how much boost you are running. Thats ashame you might be putting that motor to waste.
 
Yeah.. that stock boost gauge doesnt work.. i already knew that.. but no fears the car will be all better come jan.. ill bring it to people that actually know how to fix it get all my 4 gauges installed and maybe even my full 3 inch turbo back exaust system in prep for my 16g setup to come in the near future. the car runs fine if i drive it as an econo ride.. just when i boost it it feels weird.
