Ok, I hope this doesn't sound stupid. But, what is the difference between the clutch master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder? Is the slave cylinder the "release cylinder?" Where are these located exactly on a 1995 non turbo eclipse?

The problem is that the clutch won't grab until almost to the floor. I just tried bleeding the system and I am gonna see if that works. My clutch fluid resorvoir was empty but I didn't notice any leaks on the ground. I filled it back up and bleed the clutch. And it is better, but just doesn't quite seem right still.

The master cylinder is the one with the resorvoir on it. The slave is the one with the bleeder on it. when u bleed it make sure you pull the clutch all the way up by hand before opening the bleeder and pushing down. good luck! :)
