I just finished putting my car back together after my 20g install. I have 680cc injectors and am looking for a round about setting for tuning with the afc II. I am also having problems when it is about to make boost it will bog out a little bit, also the turbo spools up at about 4k. Just wondering if there is any way that this could be b/c of tuning reasons? If not then what can be done to spool it a little faster, i have a turbo header and a stainless O2 sensor housing w/ a full 3" N1 exhaust. The car is also running hot when I get after it, I'm running a C&R alum radiator w/ a spal 12 or 13" fan, I don't remember what he told me it was. I thought maybe that the car was running lean that it would run hot, but how much of a difference is richening the car up going to make? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
 
Well first off, the bogging is probably because the car is running pretty rich. 650's are around 30-32% bigger than stock, so I would take out around 20% on the high map and go from there to be safe. On the low map you could probably take out around 25% and go from there. Every car is different on settings. I hope you do have something to tune with like a logger at least. The spooling, thats what involved in bigger turbos. There really is no way to spool it faster unless you have nitrous or something.
The hotness I would check to make sure you are not low on fuild and check for any leaks. Also make sure your fans turn on when they are supposed to or how ever you wired them in.
 
If it is spooling up that slow, Lean it out. I was having the same problems and I leaned my 680's out, I'm still trying to get it completly good but the tuning is what caused my turbo to spool SLOW. I have a Garrett to4b. I was just starting to spool up at 4,000 or alittle higher then that. After I leaned it out, It started hitting full boost before 4,000. Do some logs?
