Lost tail lights and cluter lights

Ok after swapping to the 6bolt I go for a drive and have everything working mint. Come back go out again and I loose my cluster lights and tail lights. If I stick a fuse in the link for them under the hood it pops every time DEAD SHORT somewhere. Now I came home last night and they didn't work did some poking around the dash and they start to work I dunno what I did I was just moving the wire harness around gently looking for chafing or something. So thought I had it licked had it togeather went to go for a test drive lights were on when I started the car went to move it and bam no lights again. Tore back into it but can't find anything does anyone have an idea for me. I have been told to check the radio connections etc in the console it could be in there so I am going to do that tonight.

For future problem solving if someone is searching it ended up being my radio dimmer wire shorting to metal.
