Lately I have had my brake light (gauge cluster light)coming on. So this weekend i took off all of my wheels to check the pads/rotors and they are fine. I am drawing a blank as to what would cause my brake light to come on. It comes on sometimes when i use the brakes, but then some times when i hit a dip and then it shuts off. Any suggestions as to what it should be??

Thanks :thumb: :talon:

I guarantee it's your fluid level. I just had this problem for about 2 months. And was finally to the point where I was just going to pull the bulb, but checked my brake fluid level, and that was the problem. I never did check it because the light seemed to turn of in warm weather, and when I'd hit a pothole or something, however, the hitting a bump makes sense because it would splash fluid on the sensor, causing the light to shut off. I felt very stupid when I realized it just needed fluid. I then proceeded to pull the SRS bulb, because I could see no obvious fix for the reason that was on. And didn't have the $100 to just give to the dealership for them to tell me why it was on.
