Hey guys, lets see if you can help me here. I have a 90 Laser RS turbo FWD. When I am racing or just driving fast and I shift very quickly, or speed shift, the front of the car kinda jumps. Not hoping like the loss of traction, but more like the sound when you bottom out over a bump. It's horrible and I can't figure out what the problem is. All the mounts are new, and both axles have been replaced. Does anyone know what it might could be? Has anyone else had this problem??

Its probably wheel hoop, It can be very violent depending on the shap of your suspension, and if you car is moded well it will add to it more!

How long since you replace your motor mounts? what kind are they? are you sure they're bolted nice and tight?

sounds to me like abnormal engine movement when the front mount "roll stopper" is loose or just old and busted.

My advice is double check all the bolts holding the mounts. Also double check all your transmission bolts, mainly the ones in the bellhousing.
