i have a 2g with a 1g bov i can here it leaking air at idle and it wont hold boost once the rpm's reach 5000.its not the bov i changed it out and same problem with all of them.if i disconect the vacuum line from the intake manifold it stops, but my vacuum guage reads normal at 18lbs,please someone help i cannot figure this out and my car stutters really bad because of it

Putting the recirc tube on will not help with the problem if it is not holding boost above 5k rpm.

All stock BOV's leak a little at idle.

Where is your BOV vacuum line tapped into?

Have you tried the 2g BOV at stock boost to see if it still happens?

How many psi are you running on the 1g BOV?

Was the other 1g BOV you tried a known good one?

Check for other ic pipe leaks and make sure the BOV is sealed properly

i have had the recirc tube off for months and this just started so i dont think that will help.the other bov was on my other talon and works fine with no leak.when i put it on my 2g the leak is way more than an average leak,it actually changes the idle.if i cup off the outlet the idle goes up. i have it tapped to the stock vac. port on the intake man.the amount of boost doesnt effect it,i have tried down to 12lbs.the weird thing is if i wot it will hold boost its only when i accel slowly.

From what you said in your first post I figured that it was more then just the recirc tube, but the info in your second post points to the recirc tube, toss it on and get back to us with results

Good Luck

if i was to hook up my recirc tube i will have to fab somthing since i have a 3inch intake with no provision for it.but their is two things that doesnt lead to that, one i have been driving without it ever since i put my pte turbo on and second if i disconect the vac line off the bov the problem goes away,it almost seems like too much vavuum is pulling the bov open, you see it holds the boost it just wont hold the vacuum
