I was testing a screw on the top of my 16g for the J pipe and well my dumb@$$ dropped the damn thing in the turbo. OMG The wheel spins freely so it isnt touching it. Any Ideas on getting it out without tearing the whole turbo off??

shit son, your screwed...

if the magnet doesn't work then Taking off the turbo you might have to do... It will suck, but be glad you caught it falling down in there... otherwise you could be out 500$+

i did the same thing, a small magnet wont hold onto it and pull up out of the compressor tract.

I got MANY small round magnets, about 15
and dropped them in 1 by 1.
and got a larger magnet on a string, dropped it in
pulled out the stack and the bolt.

Hell yeah! Looks like im buying me a bunch of magnets!!! Thanks big time man! Hopefully i have the same luck you did otherwise I am going to be dumping magnets out too. :D

monster magnet might get it out. my friend dropped one in his j-pipe and we ended up pulling it out with a shop vac.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. My morning consisted of a magnet search...no luck...germany sucks for finding stuff you need. I ended up taking the turbo off and it fell right out. Took me 2 hours all together with clean up so I didnt think it was that bad. :) Thanks again all! :thumb:

i dont know if this would work or not but get a big@$$ magnet and stick it to the outside of the turbo and if the magnet were powerful enought then the screw would want to stick to the magnet and just drag the screw along the walls and guide it out of the turbo... again i'm not really sure if this would work but i think its a good idea.
