Ok, cars overheating real bad,
anytime i get on the gas the temp spikes, if it sits at idle, the temp returns to normal, and its getting worse,
just made a 10 min. trip back to the house, at about 40 mph on back country roads and i can hear the radiator boiling over, gauge is almost at the top of the scale.
doesnt overheat when its sitting though, wich to me says it not the waterpump, because parked and running theres only the fan blowing over the radiator, and the circualtion of the pump is doing the majority of the cooling, when i get on it, it spikes,
is this a bad fuel pump?
running lean when i get on it if the pumps dieing? Why else doesnt it overheat when i park and idle it?
Any good way to diagnose a failing fuel pump?
car is completely stock with K&N open element filter, no other mods.
cant figure this one out, gonna check the fuel filter tomorow and hope for a quick fix
crossing my fingers this aint the water pump, ill never get my hand in there....
