Car ALLLLLL messed up?!

Ok So she has been fine until last night. MY lights got really dim and she was was all cutting out. Will I had to jump her this morning and took her to get the battery tested. I have no lights, no signals, gauges don't work 3/4 of the time and when I try to get going, the turbo spools to 9 PSI but the car slowly gains and cuts out and just really bad!! Any ideas???

this kind of happened to me once. lights all went dim and car starting cutting out then eventually died on me. came to find out that my alternator fuse was blown so maybe check that. it could also be the actual alternator as well so check it also. hope this helps

It is your alt no doubt about it. Mine did that exactly then sputtered to a dead stop with only a click of a reply when requested to start again. On my way to work no less. Issues I know. Do you have a power steering leak by chance? Is your alternator all slimey? If so, its toast go buy a new one. I think BUCK got a really high output mits alt for his with like 100 watts or something?

I had a power steering leak not long ago and it fried my alt. and the same crap was happening to me. Alt's aren't that pricey luckily, and they aren't that hard to install either. But thats what it sounds like your problem is.

Go to Auto Zone or somewhere with a charging system testor and get them to test it.

I will get it checked. I pulled off the ground to the battery when it was running and didn't die, so I figured it was not the alt. Thanks
