Helpppppppppp Head Bolts!!!!

im this close | | to getting the head off this motor, and the back 5 head bolts are stripped, were stripped when i opened the valve cover, what can i do to save this?? any hints, suggestions? anyone? nobody responded to my last post OMG\ hopefully someone responds to this one, thats all thats stopping me from getting this motor apart

If you can't use a 6 point socket to get them off then the only thing I can think of is to grind the heads of the bolts off. This will allow you to pull the head off leaving just the stud part of the bolts. You will need to cover up EVERYTHING inside the head to keep these shavings from the head bolt from contaminating the head and oil passages. You will also need to be careful so as not to cut in to the head. The best tools for this job would be a small cutting wheel on a die grind and then finish it up with the carbide bits. Again... being VERY carefull when it comes to shavings and grinding in to the aluminum head.

If they're truly stripped off then you will 1. need new head bolts and 2. not have too many other options in removing the bolts.
