Boost Leak???

ok guys,


today driving home from school i noticed my boost gauge was only reading 16-17psi, at WOT. It was set and reading 19psi which is where i had it set.
I havent touched to boost controller, so i am thinking boost leak somewhere??

Was just wondering what u guys thought??

also i am thinking about making a IC leak tester on the vfaq forum. But i am not sure of the diameter of the turbo inlet where u put the tester. If anyone has an idea would make my project faster.

Yes it sounds like a boost leak. I made one using 2.25 inner diameter

when doing a boost leak test, should the psi stay at say 18psi and not drop off at all. seems like i can get it to 20psi or so and take of the compressor and it slowly drops off, about 1psi per sec. sound like i still have a leak or is this normal.
