Stock boost solenoid removed - Cause for CEL?

I just installed a MBC last night and everything I installed works great, except that it threw me the fantastic "service engine soon" light. I dont have the code yet, but we did pull the stock boost controll solenoid thats under the air filter. It seems likely this would trow a code? Any ideas on what to do with it? I tried it both plugged in electronicly and not. Thanks.

plug it back in..cap the lines...reset the ECU

it will throw CEL if not connected....

Yep, you dont need the vaccum lines but it has to be kept plugged in to the harness
