back right engine smoke?!?!

OK i have a 91 tsi and a couple of days ago the nut inside the oil filter came loose and all my oil drained out. well i tightned it back up and now im having all sorts of problems. When i drive it, i do not get the same get up as i did before. it does fine til about 3800 rpms then it bogs out or doesnt go anywhere just raises the rpms up slowly not like it did before. also when i run it hard the temp gauge climbs quickly and will overheat. i just did a tune up, oil change, fuel filter change, and a tstat on it. when i shut it off after a normal drive my exhaust mani is glowing but i think thats normal. i also get really low oil pressure even on the highway barely over the first bar and when im idling i can here a lil squel or whistle down by the crank pulley. Could my timing be causing all of these problems? oh and when i shut my car off after a 20 min drive it smoke from the back of the engine but it doesnt leak hardly any oil! please help

OK well i figured out that my balance shaft belt had no teeth at all and about to break. so i replaced it. now i am overheating or running hot all the time and i hear a noise from my top end like chattering valves but im not sure. the timing is inline but i get worse oil pressure now and smokes alot from the engine bay and under the car. please please help!! ive worked on cars since i could walk and im just flat out confused im hoping that its not the valve or the head gasket but if it is ill just get it ported. i just replaced the waterpump, t-stat, and used radiator from a 1.8 could that be the problem???

well it only started all these probs after the oil filter bolt came loose. the rad was good till then it lasted for about 3 weeks. Do u think thats still the prob. what bout the oil pressure?? could i have a warped head?
