me and my buddy were relocating his air/fuel and boost gauge to the center vent and we had to cut the wires to run to the vent and then reconnect them to the gauges. after reconnecting everything, we connected the battery and started the car to make sure all the gauges were readin fine and the + and negative wires on the air/fuel gauge touched and caused the car to shut down. we started it back up but it took a few cranks and idled like shit...tried to give it a lil gas but it just died. We checked all the fuses out and now a friend of mine is suggesting that we burned the ecu cause the air fuel gauge is connected to it and we need a new ecu... i am also thinkin the car is not gettin any fuel ( does the fuel pump come on when the key is in the on position with the car not runing....if so its not turning on cause its a 255 and we couldnt hear it) the real question is What do you guys think? this is in a 92 laser awd by the way.
