I just replaced my ignition coil with a brand new stock one. In order to get the coil in there I had to take out the fuel rail. Once I got the old coil out I put the new one in and bolted it up, and put the fuel rail back in. (note the injectors came out with the fuel rail)
I checked twice all the vac lines to make sure they are hooked. I didnt see any lose lines. I also replaced the PCV valve as well and made sure that vac line was hooked up. I looked in my book the make sure the wires where in the correct order. They look like they are I started the car and it turned over no problem. It was idling high though around 1800 RPMS, I let it run for 2 mins giving it a few revs and it was still going to 1800 rpms. So I turned the car off checked my lines again didnt see any problems but I did smell gas around the fuel rail. I tried to get the car to fire up again but it just keep turning over and over like its not getting a spark or something. Any one ever replaced the ingnition coil or have any ideas?? I am stumped.
