I have read the FAQ about crank walk, and I have ALL of the symptoms of it. I'm lookin to get it fixed, but Im scraped for cash. Does anybody know how much it usually cost to fix?? thanks.

Hey! does anyone know the price, estimate or exact is fine, for a complete new bottom end?

Do it piece by piece. if you have to sell the car. its never worth it to struggle in life over something as trivial as an automobile.

good luck.

Bump....Im just lookin for a rough estimate on how much it might cost. Does anybody have any idea?

crankwalk = bye bye . Get a new motor DONT FIX IT cause trust me like my man says "I'll be bacccccccccccccccccccck"

WHAT?! I just got a new motor 11k miles ago, cause I threw a rod. Dang....thats not cool

No offense, and im sure you know this now, but really you shouldnt have replaced it with another 7 bolt, especially one from a 2G. Anyway, look around, you can probably find a JDM 6 bolt for <$1200 easily. Or you could just sell it, but I'd spend the money on the 6 bolt to have a nice solid motor. Just be sure you buy from a reputable JDM engine distributor, there are a couple (search around on here). Good luck!
