SAFC2 Help...

First off, I am using a 2g GSX ECU and a JDM gvr4 4g63t. I bought a SAFC2(blk) and wired it up like it says in the diagram but I cannot get it to turn on. When the ignition is on the grean dial lights up and thats it. Somehow I got it to tun on once while I was messing around with the dials, but it hasnt turned on since. I had an SAFCI wired up before my engine swap and it was fine. Anyone have the same problem?

I would think it's defective maybe? Are you sure you have everything hooked up right? If so I'd think there is a problem with the unit, if it isn't user error . But since you had an SAFC1 I'm sure you know how to use it, or at least turn it on. After double-checking all connections, especially 12V power ones, I'd give APEXi a call. Good luck though, problems like this suck! BTW, isn't there some way to reset it, I don't have a manual handy but I think there is a way to do that, so if this is possible then you might as well give that a try.

Thats what I was trying to figure out if there was some kind of reset button. Im not used to the SAFC2 yet. I read the manual about the troubleshooting and my problem wasnt listed. Im going to go back and check all my connections. It should just turn on with the grounds and the power connected correct? I have my grounds like it shows in the book, I dont know, I will just check it tomorrow and report back

BTW I forgot to mention that I had it hooked up for about a week with my old engine and it turned on fine. It wasnt hooked up 100% correct b/c my car ran like crap, theres something else I had to do to it. BUt it turned on fine.

i had the same problem and turns out one of the taps on the ecu wires was loose but if u cannot find a loose connection then it could be a defective unit....good luck
