having a big problem with my charging system on my 93 gsx.

i bought the car last july as an auto and a blown 7 bolt, and converted it to a 5 speed with a 6 bolt. i am presently on my seventh alternator in the past year, and in the mean time i have replaced the ecu, starter, and just about every switch on the interior of the car trying to solve the problem.

i recently pulled the dash out thinking that i had an interior wiring harness problem causing the alternator problem, but none of these things solved the problem the last alt. only lasted for 3 days before it took a crap on me. i don't have a stereo system, just an aftermarket head unit with stock speakers. electronics wise, 660cc injectors, an safc, a supra tt fuel pump, and a greddy turbo timer.

if anyone has any idea what is going on and can help me i would love it. i have spent so many long hours working on this problem and am nowhere, i want to throw up everytime i even look at the car now.

thanks for the help, feel free to give me a call (412)760-0293

thanks again,

dennis

My buddy posted the above under my username, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please post here of give him a call: (412)760-0293. His name's dennis, he's a cool dude, and just needs some help. If any wisemen can post up any suggestions that would be great. Thanks alot--Dave

Yes, I have replaced all the interior switches, gauges, etc. Could it have to do with the neutral safety switch? I have it plugged in and turned to the "neutral" position. It really, at this point, has to be something in the engine bay dealing with part of the harness. Again, please if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks
