Well i put a complete 6-bolt in my 2 g and i did the t-belt and the car ran for like 2 minuets then right when i tried to turn it off the exhaust cam jumped like 5 teeth and broke both valve's in #1 cylinder. now i had the t-belt real tight and the tensioner didn't fail but i am not sure why it jumped and all i can think of is that it had to be to tight and that the tensioner pulled the exhaust cam down maybe. Well i am getting the head back from the shop soon and i just don't want this to happen again so i am wondering what anybody thinks about this i did like 2 t-belt on 1g's that week and there still boostin great, so i was ready for doing mine well just let me know what you guys think thanks Mike

ARe you sure you were getting oil pressure? Was there any cam/journal damage? When you took it apart, were the cams in time and the crank was off? Or was teh exhaust cam timed off from the intake cam?

yeah i was getting plenty of oil pressure the cams looks fine and the exhaust cam was the only one that was off
