its hard to explain but i'll do my best my car just gets really hot like for no reason its hard to explain but i think i may have a short in the fans or too much antifreeze in the coolant....

It's not a good idea to insult people who are trying to help you :thumb:

Defiant was probably wanting to know if you were using the stock guage or a datalogger or what.

hey, it happens no need to get defensive, its a way of life......check the sig

Still........you havent answered the question of how are you measuring this "hot engine". Is it the stock gauge or have you installed some other means of measuring the engine temp? The guys on here need to get a good pic as to whats going on so that they can help you because there are many things that can cause the same problem. Also, have you been running low on coolant or been having to add coolant/water frequently?

ok i'm totally stock (no extras) so i'm using the stock guage and yes i do need a lil coolant sometimes.....

i also flushed the radiator today but i haven't had a chance to test out my car....the coolant had a brownish green tint to it like oil....i'm hoping this may be it...if there is another thing it could be let me know

it sounds like your hg (head gasket) might be shot. check this,

when the car is cool (has been sitting for a couple of hours)
take the radiator hose cap off
turn the car on
look for bubbles in the coolant where the radiator cap was

if you see bubbles then your hg is shot.....
also check your oil and see if its kinda milky b/c that brown crap in your coolant could also just be rust or something.....

ok i checked.....no bubbles...is it bad to leave the radiatior cap on the valve cover when i start it? i know but it launched like 2 feet! i know its bad...i just forgot it was there

alright i drove it today and it seems to be ok after the radiator flush... :thumb: thanx for the help...i guess
